You are also providing less financial support for factories that are producing mass products (less pollution). Now I know there are exceptions to this rule, such as when you are purchasing items for a cause. This is another one that requires some consideration on your part. We live in a day and time when the majority of the population is overweight. Heart disease is the number one killer. Too much entertainment to cause us to sit on our beehinds. Too much ourtsourcing our work instead of getting out there and doing it ourselves. Every time you put something back instead of purchasing it and every time you use what you've got instead of buying something new, you are helping your money to grow and expand. It may seem obvious, but a lot of people overlook the little things. These things may seem little and inconsequential. But the truth is this: it all matters! US North Korean Policy Coordinator William Perry's report, which has been the subject of speculation on the peninsula for some months was revealed as being rather unimpressive. The report is a road map for Washington's policies on North Korea for some time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although this may change when a new president is elected.
The three stage plan detailed by Perry is quite familiar to South Koreans; in the short term the US eases sanctions; mid term sees the abandonment of nuclear and missile development; and long term,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the removal of the Cold War framework on the Korean peninsula. The comprehensive package plan to see these goals achieved are also not unfamiliar to Seoul. However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just because there is nothing new in the report, does not mean that it is bad; it has essentially systematized in clear recommendations much that was discussed so far.
The problem is in applicability of the recommendations. It specifies a carrot to be given at each stage of implementation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], something that will be an extremely tough sell to the American public. Already Congress is of the opinion that it is wrong to give candies as a reward for bad behavior, that is easing sanctions for the temporary suspension of ballistic missile tests. It is therefore difficult to say that Perry correctly understood the true situation on the peninsula as his report appears somewhat too optimistic.
Another problem with the report is that there are no specific recommendations on what to do if North Korea refuses to comply with the deals.
