"The definition of luxury has stayed the same; it's associated with finer quality, more comfort, more beautiful things. But they don't want to be perceived as uncaring, or unaware of the cultural trends. And many have had their incomes directly affected by the recession."
Marketers of luxury goods have been forced to respond by offering products at a discount. dollars can buy more this year.
